This spring, I got to visit with Wes Mickel of Argus Cidery.  If you haven't yet tried their champagne-like cider blends, you best get thee to Spec's!  The stuff is like liquid gold and very limited edition... pretty soon their tasting room should open, where visitors will get a chance to try their oak barrel-aged still wines (pictured above).

 Different types of apples are juiced and stored in large barrels, where yeast and temperature are regulated until they are oaked and bottled.
