roll on, my friend

I'd just barely flown back into Texas and I realized I'd RSVPd yes to a media event celebrating Roll on Sushi Diner's three year birthday.  (What was I supposed to do, turn down free sushi??)  Overwhelmed after a busy day back at work and knowing I had an unpacked suitcase to deal with, I did what any logical human being would do.  I headed straight for the fish.

I'd been to Roll On one other time-- actually, last year on my birthday I came here for lunch!  It's set up like an old-school diner with a wrap-around counter...cute! And the rolls are creative and hefty, believe me you.  Here are some pics from that noshfest, which left me stuffed and hauling leftovers (which Carson happily helped me with when he returned from his softball game!)  I also met Kelly, the Austin community manager for Yelp!  She's a riot and a lot of fun... and definitely inspired me to get back to Yelping.  So you will now see my Yelp badge on the side of this page, and links to reviews when appropriate. :)
