This might be a post I regret running my mouth about, but I recently discovered a happy hour that is way too good of a deal to keep to myself. Dollar oysters are definitely a thing, but Foreign & Domestic's Dollar Oyster Night (every Tuesday from 5:30 until they run out) is much more than that. For $33, you can get "the whole shebang"-- the five plates above, plus a dozen oysters (last night they had Summersides and Riptides) and housemade bread and butter. I split this with two others and we were too full for any of Jodi's delicious desserts! All Texas beer is also $2.00, and I finally got to try Hops & Grain's The One They Call Zoe, a lager with a slight citrus finish which went quite well with our sea-based feast.
