it's all gravy


Ironically enough, this Jersey girl first tried poutine right here in Austin. It was from a British food trailer called Bits & Druthers (no longer around, unfortunately).

To tell you the truth, I kinda forgot about poutine for a few years after that. And now, suddenly, I'm seeing it on menus everywhere! When I found out Chef Jennifer Costello of The Bonneville is actually from Ontario and has some warm memories of the comfort food from her childhood through college years, I decided to write this article on poutine for Culturemap Austin.
